3. Keyword – Keywords are the search terms that users type on search engines to find what they’re looking for. In SEO, web pages are optimized to attract visitors who use keywords which are relevant to the site’s content. For example, if your site sells $30 Widgets then it needs to be optimized, so that it will attract people who use keywords like “$30 for Widgets” or “30 dollar Widgets.”
4. Link Building – Link building refers to an activity that involves acquiring more inbound links for your site. The purpose of this process is to increase your website’s ranking among search engines.
5. PageRank – Google provides the importance of a website by ranking it on a scale between 0-10. The higher the number ,the more valuable the website.
6. Ranking Factor – Ranking Factor refers to a particular element that search engines use to determine the rank of a particular website on its page. A couple of good examples of ranking factors include the number of inbound links to a particular page or the quality of the site’s content.
7. Search Engine Results Page or SERP – When you send a query to a search engine, it will respond by giving you a Search Engine Results Page, which displays all of the relevant results for your keyword query. These pages usually display 10 results at a time, but it may vary depending your browser, your query and your settings.
8. Spiders – Spiders refer to a software that collects information from websites on the Internet.
9. Traffic – Traffic refers to the amount of volume of visitors that visit a particular site. Take note, however, that a high traffic volume does not always mean higher sales. It just means that you get a lot of visitors and views.
10. Traffic Rank – Traffic rank refers to site’s ranking in regards to its traffic volume compared to other sites online.
